The ultimate batch of resale tickets for Glastonbury Festival have offered out in 20 mins after “incredible demand”.
The common admission tickets for the world-famous match in Somerset have been launched at 09:00 BST on Sunday, and the pageant introduced on X they have been long gone by means of 9:20 BST.
Those who neglected out on purchasing tickets closing November got two extra probabilities to shop for them this week, in the once a year trainer and common resales. Coach resale tickets offered out in about 30 mins on Thursday.
US pop big name Olivia Rodrigo, British band The 1975 and rock legend Neil Young will headline the pageant this summer time.
Writing on X, Glastonbury Festival stated: “On a morning of incredible demand, all of the tickets in today’s resale have been sold.
“Thank you to everybody who purchased one, and sorry to those that neglected out.”
The cost of a ticket rose from £355 per person to £378.50 from last year, including a £5 booking fee.
The number of tickets available for the resales depended on the number of people who did not pay the full price for their ticket after putting down a £75 deposit in November.
The festival will take place at Worthy Farm between 25 June and 29 June.
Among the many acts performing at the festival will be five-time Brit award winner Charli XCX, Scissor Sisters and Rod Steward who will play the Sunday afternoon “legend slot”.
After this summer, the event will take a “fallow 12 months” earlier than returning in 2027.
