Exclusive: Shruti Haasan Reveals Why She Was Called Unlucky In The Beginning Of Her Career | Filmfare.com

During an unique interview with Filmfare as part of our In The Ring collection, Shruti unfolded about being referred to as unfortunate. She mentioned, “They had this whole myth in Telugu that I am unlucky, because my first two films didn’t work. But they didn’t realize that the first two films had the same hero.”

Shruti additional added, “And they were like ‘We don’t want her.’ Then Pawan Kalyan sir was like ‘no, we get her.’ And my whole career trajectory changed.” While thanking the individuals who believed in her all the way through her preliminary years within the trade, the actress mentioned, “Suddenly Bombay started looking, Tamil started looking. Do you know what I mean? It’s just the people and how they believe in you. It translates even creatively when they believe you can carry something off. And they are collaborative and communicative. It makes a difference.”

Shruti’s Telugu debut used to be Anaganaga O Dheerudu in 2011, whilst her Tamil debut used to be 7aum Arivu in the similar yr. She made her Hindi debut with the film Luck in 2009.
