New Delhi: The release of electrical buses below the Delhi Electric Vehicle Integration (DEVI) scheme has been postponed in view of the declaration of nationwide mourning following the dying of Pope Francis, Chief Minister Rekha Gupta mentioned on Tuesday.
The govt on Monday introduced a three-day state mourning as a mark of recognize at the passing away of Pope Francis. Francis, who used to be the primary non-European Pope in just about 1,300 years, died on Monday. He used to be 88.
“Due to the national mourning declared by the Government of India on the demise of His Holiness Pope Francis, the launch of electric buses under the DEVI scheme has been postponed. The new date will be announced soon,” Gupta mentioned in a submit on X.
