“It’s aggravating. I admire [visiting a farm] comes with dangers but when we were advised there have been circumstances probably related to this farm then we’d’ve made up our minds to not pass.

“To knowingly not be told, when they knew there were cases, is just frustrating.”

Su Mably, PHW marketing consultant in well being coverage, mentioned: “We are working closely with partners to investigate these cases and to understand if there is a wider risk to the public.

“We would advise any individual who has visited the farm, specifically those that attended feeding or petting periods, and who’s now experiencing signs to touch their GP.”

Councillor Ruba Sivagnanam, Vale of Glamorgan council’s cabinet member for community engagement, equalities and regulatory services, said the authority was aware of the infection cases and was “running with the trade to forestall any longer circumstances of unwell well being”.
