But Eubank Jr toughed it out and came through to edge an epic battle.

What a final round

The fight finished almost an hour ago and I’m still stunned at how Eubank Jr closed it out.

A truly heroic effort that sealed his victory, and here’s how the Sky Sports commentary team called it all…

Round 12 – Huge last round from Eubank Jr

Where has Eubank jr found this from?

He is winging in punches from all angles and Benn is hurt! But he then fires back.

How are both men still standing. It’s a Eubank Jr round and I think he’s won this fight but there were so many close rounds.,

Round 11 – Eubank Jr pushes Benn back

Eubank Jr pushes Benn back to the ropes and he’s landing cleanly. Benn all of a sudden looks tired.

Eubank Jr looks up at the clock. He’s feeling this. But that’s his round. One to go.

Round 9 – Eubank Jr cut badly!

Eubank Jr paws at his eye and it’s a bad cut on the right eyelid.

He comes firing back and after a strong start to the round from Benn, Eubank Jr seemed to land the better shots in the second half of the round.

Round 8 – The fight comes to life

Best round of the fight so far.

Eubank Jr was on top for the first two minutes, but then Benn fired back so well in the lkast minute and may have briefly hurt Eubank Jr again.

Eubank Jr still managed to push his rival back to the ropes at the end of the round. Great action.

Round 7 – Eubank Jr steps up a gear

Best punch of the fight from Eubank Jr as he finds the target with a big uppercut. Benn somehow comes through it.

Benn busier in this round after a couple of good rounds for Benn.

He lands a right hand that Eubank jr takes well. Eubank Jr finishes the round with a couple of strong jabs, but Benn perhaps just nicks that one.

Round 5 – Eubank Jr taunts Benn as he starts to land big

Benn goes down but it’s just a push. He rolls over and gets back up quickly.

Eubank Jr is smiling at Benn as he lands a right hand and then thud home multiple jabs.

Round 4 – Eubank Jr lands with the uppercut

Eubank Jr connects with a three-punch combination and then lands a peach of an uppercut.

Benn remains very dangerous, though. He lands a right hand to close the round.

Round 3 – Benn hurts Eubank Jr with a big right hand!

Benn lands a big right and Eubank Jr has to hang on briefly. The first major breakthrough in the fight for either man.

Eubank Jr is on his way

Chris Eubank Sr does his son’s robe up for him as they share one final moment in the dressing room.

Then Tina Turner’s Simply The Best blares out – that was his father’s ringwalk song, of course. A passing of the torch moment.

The two men pose side by side on the stage. And now Still DRE by Dr Dre and Snoop Dogg. It’s fight time, ladies and gentlemen.

Here comes Conor Benn

Benn is first to the ring. There were some boos as his name was announced by Michael Buffer. Some fans have not forgotten the failed drugs tests that derailed this fight 30 months ago.

The Big Ben chimes ring out, and then we’re into Ready Or Not by The Fugees.

A great tune, and Benn looks ready to rumble.

Time for God Save The King

Anthony Yarde beats Lyndon Arthur on points

Yarde gets the nod on all three scorecards.

Three three judges’ cards read 116-112, 116-112, and 115-113.

A close fight, but Yarde upped the ante in the latter rounds and just did enough.

Eubank Sr sends message to Conor Benn

Round 12 – Arthur finishes well

Arthur was read the riot act ahead of the last round and comes out strongly.

Yarde pushes him back again, but Arthur is finding some tidy shots on the inside.

Arthur finishes strongly, and this will be really interesting to see how the judges have scored it.

Round 11 – Yarde hurts Arthur to the body

Good work from Yarde as he steps to the side and bangs in a left hook to Arthur’s ribs.

Arthur is still coming back, but is he doing enough to win these rounds? And now Yarde lands a body shot and Arthur winces. He’s hurt but hangs on.

One round to go, Yarde is starting to up the ante.

Round 10 – Yarde piling on the pressure

A pattern has emerged in the last two or three rounds with Arthur staying on the ropes and Yarde piling on the pressure.

Yarde is a little busier, but Arthur is also having success. It could all come down to these last two rounds.

Round 9 – Neither man giving an inch

Yarde is trying to trun the screw and is backing Arthur to the ropes. He is the aggressor, but Arthur is also firing back.

Arthur lands a good left uppercut, but Yarde then hits the target with his own right uppercut.

Energy-sapping stuff, and with three rounds to go it is all to play for.

Johnny Nelson reacts to Eubank Sr’s shock arrival

Round 8 – Battle of attrition breaking out

Arthur is starting to mix up his shots more as he lands left hooks and a short right hand.

Yarde then manages to up the pressure, but he’s smothering his work, and Arthur does a good job of blocking the punches coming his way.

Yarde had a strong second half of the round, but he is maybe just behind on the cards with four rounds to go.

Fans angry with ‘appalling’ ring conditions

We have seen boxers slipping all evening on the canvas, and fans are not happy at all.

Round 7 – Arthur causing problems with his jab

Yarde just catches Arthur off balance with a right hand, but Arthur takes it well.

Arthur comes back with an excellent double jab. That’s been causing Yarde problems throughout the fight.

Yarde trying to up his work rate but the accuracy is not there at the moment.

Round 6 – Yarde looking to impose his size

Yarde feels he is the stronger man and is trying to impose his size, but Arthur is tucking up nicely on the inside.

This is really tight, you can make a case for both man in both rounds.

Second half of the fight coming up.

Round 5 – Nothing to split both men

A lot of movement from both men, but they are struggling to find the range.

Arthur gets through with a couple of jabs, and in a tight round, that may have just given him the edge.

Nigel Benn happy his rival is here

Nigel Benn has insisted Chris Eubank Sr showing up will not affect his son tonight.

Round 4 – Slippery canvas becoming an issue again

Both men looking down at the canvas and I think it’s becoming a little slippery again like we saw earlier in the night.

Yarde seems to fancy his chances with the left hook and throws it twice in quick succession. They seem to partially land but Arthur takes them well.

Arthur lands a good combination to finish the round.

Round 3 – Yarde starting to let his hands go more

Yarde a little busier in this round and he lands a good left hook.

Back comes Arthur with a right hand to the body and this remains a very technical affair so far.

Another angle of the chaos with Billy Joe Saunders

Round 2 – Arthur having joy with the jab

Arthur has a razor-sharp jab and is having plenty of joy with it.

Yarde just struggling to fins his range so far, but still very early days in this one.

Round 1 – Intriguing start

Arthur just trying to bring his jab into play. Yarde looking for more power punches but is unable to land much of note.

Yarde targeting the body and has a little success but that’s a close opening round.

Yarde vs Arthur is underway

There goes the bell. And we’re off…

Declan Rice shows up at Tottenham

Rice has popped across north London for tonight’s domestic dust-up.

The Arsenal midfielder couldn’t miss this one.

Here comes Anthony Yarde

Yarde has challenged for a world title twice and come up short. If he wants to get a third chance he simply has to win tonight.

Lyndon Arthur struts to the ring

Arthur beat Yarde in their first fight, but was knocked out in the rematch.

Who will come out on top in tonight’s trilogy fight?

Argument erupts outside Eubank Jr’s dressing room

Benn wants Billy Joe Saunders to inspect Eubank Jr’s hands being wrapped, but Eubank Jr has no interest in letting his old rival into his dressing room.

An argument has erupted. More fun and games ahead of the first bell.

One more fight before the main event

We have Anthony Yarde vs Lyndon Arthur up next, and then it’s main event time.

Can Eubank Sr spur his son on to victory?

See you in the car park, Chris!

Another video has emerged of Sr and Jr meeting up in the car park before making their way into the stadium.

There was a smile from Chris Sr. He was never really going to miss this, was he?

Aaron McKenna beats Liam Smith

McKenna wins by unanimous decision for the biggest victory of his career.

It’s a landslide win for the Irsihman who looks destined for bigger and better things.

Round 12 – McKenna knocks down Smith!

A big body shot drops Smith to his knees and Smith is wincing in pain.

He does very well to make the final bell, but McKenna has won this by a distance.

Round 11 – Smith running out of time

Smith is a proud man and is still trying but Mcekkna has just been the much better man on the night.

Smith finally lands a good right hand but McKenna is unmoved. A closer round but Smith seems to have left himself too much to do.

THE iconic moment

Still trying to get my head around Eubank Sr arriving with his son.

Just over a week ago he was calling him ‘a disgrace’. But he will be by his side on the biggest night of his professional career.

It’s hard not to feel happy for them after everything the family has been through.

Round 10 – McKenna closing in on a big win

This has been so impressive from McKenna. Smith may be an ageing fighter, but he has not been given a sniff here.

Smith just cannot handle the angles that McKenna is finding. He has not been badly hurt, but these shots must be taking an effect at this stage of the fight.

Benn watches the Eubanks arrive

A penny for Conor Benn’s thoughts.

He has just watched Eubank Jr walk into the stadium with his dad. Does that give Jr the psychological edge he needed.

Round 9 – McKenna warned by the referee again

McKenna is warned for use of the elbow again, but no point deduction this time.

A quieter round, but McKenna is three minutes closer to victory.

Chris Eubank Jr has arrived – with Chris Eubank Sr!

The roar from the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium!

Eubank Jr has just stepped out of a lift, and alongside him is his father! What a moment. Wow.

Round 8 – McKenna only getting stronger

This has been almost perfect from McKenna so far and he is trying to break Smith down to the body now.

He must be a mile ahead on the cards with four rounds to go.

Benn shows off special gumshield

Round 7 – McKenna picking apart Smith

The fight is developing into a familiar pattern. McKenna is much busier and is consistently landing cleanly.

Smith has so much experience and is taking the shots well, but not offering much in return.

Hearn warns to expect the unexpected in Eubank Jr vs Benn

Round 6 – McKenna is deducted a point

Smith’s corner did a good job on that cut in between rounds and then McKenna is deducted a point for use of the elbow. The first setback for McKenna in this fight.

That only spurs on McKenna as he lands three or four hurtful uppercuts.

All the classy work is coming from McKenna and despite losing a point that should be a 9-9 round.

Boxing - Liam Smith v Aaron McKenna - Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, London, Britain - April 26, 2025 The referee breaks Liam Smith and Aaron McKenna during their middleweight fight Action Images via Reuters/Andrew Couldridge

Round 5 – Smith picks up bad cut

The referee gives McKenna a stern warning early in the round for holding. There didn’t seem to be much in it and McKenna looks a little bemused.

And now Smith does seem to be quite badly cut by his right eyebrow. It looked like it was probably caused by a head clash. As we are past four rounds, if the fight is stopped we will go to the scorecards.

Another dominant McKenna round and this is getting very tricky for Smith now.

Round 4 – Smith struggling to find his rhythm

A bit more urgency from Smith to start the round but McKenna is still the one who looks at ease.

There’s not a great deal behind his punches but most are finding the target.

Smith looks ponderous so far and may have a small cut above his right eye.

KSI backs Eubank Jr to beat Benn

Round 3 – McKenna boxing beautifully so far

Smith has made slow starts in the past so there is no need to panic yet, but McKenna is being allowed to find his flow.

He switches between head and body beautifully and Smith is yet to find the answers to McKenna’s variety of attacks.

Round 2 – McKenna continues confident start

McKenna is constantly on the move and is picking his shots nicely. It’s consistent pressure from Smith but he needs to let his hands go at some point.

McKenna is switching between the orthodox and southpaw stance and looks full of confidence in the early stages.

Benn in confident mood in his dressing room

Round 1 – McKenna makes busy start

Smith is stalking McKenna around the ring but not throwing a great deal. It’s McKenna who is the busier as he looks to work behind his jab.

McKenna’s activity probably earns him the opener.

First round underway

Smith vs McKenna gets going. Should be a good one…

No sign of Eubank Jr yet

Benn arrived about half an hour ago now, but Eubank Jr is taking his time.

He did the same with both weigh-ins so it’s no great surprise. No one will rush Eubank Jr it seems!

Smith on his way

Smith is one of four fighting brothers and they are all there to support him as he makes his way to the ring.

How much has he got left in the tank at 36?

Good ringwalk tune at least, as the crowd start to get involved for one of the first times tonight. The stadium is starting to fill up a little more.

McKenna makes his way to the ring

McKenna is unbeaten but this is a big step up for him. Can he prove his world-class credentials by beating Smith?

Liam Smith vs Aaron McKenna to start shortly

We drop down to middleweight now, and this should be another good scrap.

Smith is a former world champion, but has spent over 18 months out of the ring.

McKenna is 11 years younger than Smith at 25, and is hoping tonight will be a breakthrough moment for him.

From lavish upbringings to toe-to-toe battles

Eubank Jr and Benn could have chosen easier lifestyles after being raised by dads who made millions in the ring before them.

But they have decided that fighting is for them, and we are just a couple of hours away from the latest chapter in the Eubank-Benn rivalry.

Viddal Riley is the new British champion!

Viddal Riley beats Cheavon Clarke by unanimous decision.

The judges scored the fight 117-111, 116-112 and 115-113. Those cards sound about right, and that’s a win for Tottenham over Arsenal.

Or at least that’s how the stadium announcer is taking it as ‘Glory Glory Tottenham Hotspur’ is played on the tannoy around the stadium.

Chorus of boos meet Benn

The stadium is only half full, so hard to be definitive around what the reception will be for the main protagonists, but an interesting hint was offered a moment ago.

Benn’s arrival was beamed onto the giant screens and was greeted by a chorus of boos. The loudest noise of the evening so far.

Round 12 – Riley looks to have done enough

Riley looks like he fancies a knockout after hurting Clarke in the last round.

But then he walks onto a right hand with 30 seconds to go and has to hold briefly.

Clarke has left his burst too late, and surely Riley will be the new British champion.

Round 11 – Riley hurts Clarke!

Riley looks full of confidence. He doesn’t seem to think Clarke can hurt him.

Clarke looks a beaten man right now. And he’s hurt at the end of the round! A right hand wobbles the legs of Clarke.

Has he got anything left for this final round?

Benn arrives!

Conor Benn is in the building and there were a few boos there. How will that affect him?

Round 10 – Riley handling slippery conditions better

There’s still plenty of slipping and sliding with this logo in the ring. Someone sort this ring canvas out after this fight please!

But Riley is not letting it bother him too much. He is picking the better shots, while Clarke is forcing his work and not having much joy.

Boxing - Viddal Riley v Cheavon Clarke - Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, London, Britain - April 26, 2025 The referee wipes the canvas during the British cruiserweight title fight between Viddal Riley and Cheavon Clarke Action Images via Reuters/Andrew Couldridge

Round 9 – Slippery ring becoming a concern

Both fighters are slipping on the logo in the centre of the ring and the referee pauses the action to wipe it down with a towel.

Let’s hope that doesn’t continue to be a problem throughout the night.

Clarke lands a couple of good right hands, his best work in some time. But he’s behind with three rounds left.

Benn on his way to the arena

Benn should be at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium soon after leaving for the biggest fight of his night a short while ago.

Round 8 – Riley taking control

Neither man has been hurt yet, and they still look fairly fresh.

Riley’s skill and movement is winning this fight right now, and Clarke isn’t doing much about it.

Clarke slips again and Riley tries to take advantage but Clarke regroups. Riley looks like he’s in complete control now.

Round 7 – Riley staying on top

Both fighters are starting to commit to their punches more, but not a lot is landing that cleanly.

The Sky Sports viewers have Riley well ahead, and he’s definitely leading but it might be a touch closer than they have it.

But that’s another Riley round.

Anthony Yarde is in the building

Tonight’s co-main event will see Anthony Yarde face Lyndon Arthur for the first time.

Both men have challenged for world titles, and will be looking to get back into the mix.

Round 6 – Nip and tuck at halfway

Riley lands a right hand and Clarke stumbles but says he slipped. The logo in the middle of the ring does seem to be causing problems as we saw with Glanton earlier.

A bit more purpose in this round from Clarke, and it’s all to play for as we move into the second half of the fight.

Liam Smith up next

Smith lost his last fight to Chris Eubank Jr just over 18 months ago. Can he get his career back on track tonight?

Round 5 – Riley finds his flow

Riley is really enjoying himself now and looks very light on his feet.

He is not dominating this fight by any means, but is edging most exchanges.

Round 4 – Riley continues to settle

Riley is liking the pace this is being fought at. He is being given time to pick his shots, and the right hand over the top is starting to land well.

A left hand to the body then catches Clarke and that’s probably another round that Riley has nicked.

Billy Joe Saunders to join in the main event mind games?

Chris Eubank Jr’s former foe Billy Joe Saunders has claimed he is going to go and watch him get his hands wrapped later.

Will he follow through on his word and try to get into Eubank Jr’s head?

Round 3 – Riley starting to grow in confidence

This fight is yet to catch fire. Both men seems to be starting their attacks from too far out and falling short.

Riley finally lands a short right hand over the top of Clarke’s jab. A better round for Riley who is warming to his task.

Ed Sheeran lookalike?

Boxing can be a bizarre business…

Round 2 – Both men struggling to find their range

A very different fight to the previous cruiserweight bout we saw earlier. Both men taking their time but struggling to land clean.

Riley has a jittery style but it’s not really working for him yet. Neither man has found their range. Good luck scoring that round!

Round 1 – Cagey opening

Neither man taking any risks in the opening round here.

Clarke perhaps slightly more accurate with his jab early on, but it’s a really close round. Expect this one to liven up.

The moment Billam-Smith and Glanton settled their differences

Eubank Jr set to fight through adversity tonight

Eubank Jr has had to deal with family tragedy in recent years after losing his brother in 2021.

His father, Chris Sr, also branded him a ‘disgrace’ last week for taking the fight with Benn and then slapping him with an egg.

But he is ready to go through the ‘pain’ to get victory in the biggest fight of his career.

Chris Billam-Smith wins!

Billam-Smith gets the nod by unanimous decision! The three judges score the bout 116-113, 116-112 and 116-112.

Fair scorecards there, and Billam-Smith is back to winning ways after a tough 12-rounder.

Both men bury the hatchet

There was some bad blood before this fight with Glanton saying he was going to give Billam-Smith ‘brain damage’.

The two men embrace at the final bell and hug it out. That’s good to see.

Round 12 – Billam-Smith finishes well

Billam-Smith grimaces as Glanton lands low but the referee lets the fight continue.

Billam-Smith knows he just needs to get through the last round and starts to move around more than he has done throughout the whole fight.

Glanton lands a good right hand to keep Billam-Smith honest but the Brit takes it well.

One final left hook from Billam-Smith and he has surely done enough to win this.

Round 11 – Billam-Smith closing in on victory

Signs of frustration from Glanton as he pushes Billam-Smith away.

Billam-Smith is breathing heavily but still finding the right punches when he needs them. Another right hook stops Glanton in his tracks.

We are going the distance, and Glanton surely needs a knockout to win.

Round 10 – Billam-Smith shows his class

Billam-Smith has just got a bit more in his arsenal and he is making Glanton miss for fun in this round.

Good variety from the Brit as he lands to the head and body with the right hook that has been his signature punch in this fight.

He must be ahead on the cards going into the last six minutes.

Round 9 – Signs of fatigue kicking in

Billam-Smith starting to look a little tired, but his right hand is still landing cleanly.

Glanton is pushing forwards but was not able to land too much of note in that round. Three big rounds to go.

More cruiserweights next

It will be Cheavon Clarke vs Viddal Riley for the British cruiserweight title next. Should be another cracker…

Round 8 – Both men land big

Glanton is still dangerous as he starts landing left hooks to the head. Billam-Smith has not quite got his uppercut spot on, but a left hook to the body finds the target. Beautiful shot.

Close round, with both men still not taking a backwards step.

Liam Smith arrives for crossroads fight later

Round 7 – Billam-Smith starting to take control

Glanton goes down again but claims another slip and the referee agrees. That was a borderline call. Glanton looks like Bambi on ice at times.

Billam-Smith is really fancying this now and he is the one landing the big shots as he starts bringing the uppercut into play.

Round 6 – Billam-Smith ramps up the pressure

Glanton touches down but it’s just a slip. Both men get right back to it and Glanton lands a good combination.

Back comes Billam-Smith with a right hook to the body and then the head. Glanton is slipping on the canvas, but he seems to be briefly rocked by another right hook.

Really good round for the Brit.

Round 5 – Billam-Smith lands big

Naughty from Glanton as he uses his head up close. He gets a warning from the referee as it was very obvious what he was doing there.

Billam-Smith lands three big right hands but Glanton takes them well.

Billam-Smith then lands another right hand in the final 30 seconds of the round, but Glanton fires back with a left hook. Another excellent round.

Round 4 – Billam-Smith looks to slow the pace

The cuffing right hook around the side of the gloves is working well for Billam-Smith as he catches Glanton cleanly.

Both men are showing they have great chins here as Glanton connects with a left hook on the ropes.

For the first time, Billam-Smith starts to use his movement a bit more as he takes a brief breather. His jab and more accurate power shots probably win him that round.

Round 3 – Glanton comes firing back

The heads come together early in the round and Billam-Smith has a small cut by his eye.

He is a tough, tough man though and doesn’t complain. Billam-Smith’s body work has been excellent but Glanton is starting to get into this more.

The American’s best round so far as he catches Billam-Smith with a hard right hook. This is a toe-to-toe war!

Round 2 – Billam-Smith really opening up

Some really classy work from Billam-Smith as he just takes small steps backwards and then fires home accurate shots that catch Glanton cleanly.

This is being fought at a ferocious pace. If it goes 12 rounds, both men will have really earned their money! Cracking fight so far.

Round 1 – Very lively start

It’s a small 18ft ring tonight, but that doesn’t mattere here. This could be fought in a phone booth!

Both men getting in close and trying to land short-sharp shots. Billam-Smith just edges it as he lands multiple left hooks, but both men have been forced to take good shots already.

We are underway!

The first bell rings.. here we go!
